You'd think it be an easy one-and-done purchase = ownership transaction... Are you always suppose to give credits when the character is portrayed, or only when the original reference is posted? "Changes welcomed" but how much can be changed before you are no longer required to give credit?
Show PostCommercial & merchandising rights... but what about copyright? What if i wanna publish a comic or debut a show with a lot of writing and lore made by me... usiing a character design or concept I purchased off of an artist? Lotta questions pop up that the usual "trust sytem" response cant answer.

I've always felt kinda iffy about it. Like, is it really my character if I'm not the one who created it? And selling characters feels weird to me too. Personally I don't think I could disconnect myself from something I designed.
Show PostAdoptables are such a neat concept, and I always like window shopping, but I always have concerns with the legalities of it all.
Show PostMan... Those Residents really were Evil.
