I must be honest that I have been MASSIVELY struggling to figure out how to react to mathematicians who now very suddenly care about the human element of math, only in light of genAI stealing everyone’s work. The best response I have, meant sincerely, is welcome to the party.

Seeing group of men (philosophers, engineers, cognitive scientists) finding each other in their shared hate of women experts who work and think outside the(ir) mainstream. Patting each other on the back for mysogynist dunks & mischaracterisations, while thinking they are smart and doing noble work.
