when combat rooms start taking 10 minutes with enemies that require a 5 step checklist just to do damage at all, it just becomes a chore

this was my main issue with gaucamelee it was like pretty fine for most of the game because the platforming was never super demanding and the combat was pretty fun but the finale of the game was fucking agonizing cuz they stretched every mechanic far past the point where it stops being fun
