I had the opportunity to interview Xavier Becerra. I appreciate that he’s not blowing smoke up our ass when it comes to single-payer healthcare. He understands the political & financial hurdles, but also made clear he’s committed to doing the work to move California closer to making it a reality.

Our rich are the richest. Most of us Californians are not. Tax the fricking 200 billionaires Gavin. And get our legislators to copy what Hawaii just did to get rid of Citizens United. If we’ve had Ranked Choice, you wouldn’t be stuck on their dining tables.

Actually, Canada can annex all blue states and would be the most powerful country in the world. To join, US states need to agree to strict gun laws and universal healthcare.
