I'm like 60-80% all electric with my phev, In my part of the world there is poor charger infrastructure. My wife loves it and completely flipped her opinion of electric cars. Maybe compare them to the ice cars people would buy instead?

Good news! Possible coral bleaching recovery through symbiont transfer from healthy (and same genet) corals. Yes, we still need to prevent mass bleaching events (and we seem to be going backwards 🤬) but this brings some hope that reefs can be revived 🧪

cows painted like zebras get about half as many flies. why? i ran 50 models of a fly's eye (flyvis) with stripes sliding right. fine stripes read as moving left in 90% of runs. painted cow stripes flip most from 50–80 cm away. #neuroskyence #drosophila #SciArt
