Hope to get this write up out this or next weekend. Have tons of nuggets on what happened this year and I think at least a few that haven't been discussed widely and some narratives that don't hold up to a deeper scrutiny.
Show PostWhy did the Giants core hitter group get off to such bad starts? Was it just bad luck that led to all of them slumping? I don't think so. There was a concerted effort in the winter and in ST to get their swings flatter and for some more aggressive in approach. Backfired, especially with Chapman.
