Imagine having to spend nearly $1,500 of today's money to grind endless 4-color Collected Company mirrors. Absolutely atrocious metagame.
Show PostPeople complain about Standard now but for my money this was by far the worst era of Standard. Fetchlands combined with tapped duals and trilands meant every single deck in standard was some blue-based 4 color slop pile, and it also meant that every viable deck was $1,000 dollars at the time.
