What folks miss is that there's a borderline Catholic ontology at play when talking about "biological sex". "Transsexual Empire" itself is the work of an "ex" Catholic whose argument was a thin rewording of "altering god's design is a sin". Catholics like Dale O'Leary popularised "gender ideology".
