I think it has something to do with now having the means to change my life for the better. Thus my brain wanting to change all the things immediately instead of taking it one step at a time, which has historically been the better way to go about it.

It's one thing if it gets a few balance patches and one or two DLC, sure, whatever. That's fine But if you spend years constantly updating the game like its liveservice it's like... what are we doing here. I respect the game more when it's just one and done. That's right Isaac, I'm lookin at YOU

I kinda lowkey don't like it when roguelike games constantly get updates. That's sounds like a weird statement on paper but I don't like it because the game you might have beaten 5 years ago is fundamentally not the same game you beat now
