So the rates I've had (c. 1500 words unless noted otherwise): FP $400 (this year) The Atlantic $300 (in 2020) NYTimes $1200 (in 2023; half for the online, half for making the print) National Interest: $750 (for 6k words, 2021) The Dispatch $250 (2024) (years included cause inflation).
