The reward is that you get to see more art you enjoy. Cool! This applies to fic writers too, don't forget to give them some of your attention in exchange for their hard (and unpaid unlike some artists'!!) work. Feedback is way scarcer for them than it is for artists and it's their only fuel

/gen do you think converting the eagerness to read more from “when is the next chapter” to “I can’t wait to read the next chapter” more effective? Or do you think both end up stressing out the creator more overall?

The latter is definitely way better because it doesn't become a selfish demand :-) If you struggle to come up with more things to say, It'll always be appreciated if you come up with some form of a link to a fic/chapter you just read ("loved that moment when__", "it was surprising to see __") As in-
