if you hate your work, and if that's because you made it, try to shift your focus on what parts you *do* like, what parts you enjoy, and how hard you've worked to get to where you are. Trick yourself if you have to. It's not conceited, you know we always have more to learn, and love fuels progress

I don't hate my work in the least. I'm actually quite proud of my work, especially because I made it\, and I can look back on things I did even when I was just a teen and be proud of that kiddo for trying so hard and sticking with it. I've plenty of room to improve, but progress comes with passion

It seems people are often afraid of liking their own art work due to the worry of being perceived as egotistical or conceited, but you can still love your work and have a huge driving force behind that acting as a love for learning and improving. You can be proud and seek joy while you grow.
