It’s definitely harder to get a job these days. The online application process makes it even more difficult. I’m a boomer, and yes money went further in the 70s, 80s, 90s. Corporate and Wall Street greed are back and have sent us back into a gilded age of sorts, we’re repeating history.

Yes , I graduated early thinking I would be ahead of the rush. But trying to get a job as a female in a male dominated field was tough. One interviewer asked me if I was there to find a husband. Luckily the candidate they hired was terrible and it took them yrs to get rid of him
