Bro actually compared going from 2D to 3D (which is a creative choice), moving from C to C++ (which a LOT of developers still don't like and still use C) and from closed source to open source (which did not happen at all) with removing all creative work and just replace it with slop. The things is, I feel like this explains a lot. It seems like an improvement to him and therefore it must be the correct assessment because it's how he sees it and his is the only vision that matters. He thinks his opinion is a fact and that the rest of the world needs to adapt to him.
