There are people who I can’t forgive for the ways they’ve hurt me, but I do want to give them a chance to grow and be better. They can just do it away from me… I’m sure there are one or two folks out there who feel the same about me from when I was younger and stupid.

One of the things that bothers me about the TADC situation is the lesson this kinda stuff teaches. The lesson I was always taught as a kid was, "if you do something wrong, you should say you're sorry and then try to do better." I think that's a pretty reasonable approach.

My most conservative viewpoint is that I think for a lot of people the only way for them to stop being a complete shithead is to get their ass beat. I really try to be nuanced about this but I think a lot of people would genuinely benefit from having to awkwardly drag themselves up from the floor
