You know something that is starting to piss me off? It's when BIPOC create safe spaces to talk and share experiences about the terrible injustices and untold harms they suffer under white supremacist systems, and white queer people show up there and try to take centre stage, or grab the spotlight.

Listen, if you're a white queer person, showing up in a safe space for BIPOC, how about you just shut up and listen? Can you do that? It's not about you. The space wasn't built for you. Yes, we get it. As a white trans person, you suffer too. But in white supremacist systems, you have privilege.

In imperialist, colonial, cutthroat capitalist, and white supremacist systems, y'all have PRIVILEGE. It's actually really dystopian, watching white trans women, every time I am invited to a safe space for BIPOC, trying to grab the spotlight, and constantly making the discourse about themselves.

BIPOC share some racist experience they've suffered, and a white trans woman immediately jumps in to compare all of it to something she suffered. Queer white people may be in the space if the organisers invite them. But I'd really suggest y'all shut the fuck up and listen! Shalom.
