Clint is kind of on his own level with the zero to shouty stuff though. I often recall Erika Slezak talking about CR’s drinking problem affecting work sometimes. There are many 80s scenes where he gets so worked up so quickly that it’s like he chokes on it physically, and stumbles over his lines.

One thing I’ve really noticed in watching #OLTL 1986-89: Clint is kind of a jerk! Like, we love The Buchanans and I always want Viki & Clint together… but he throws an awful lot of temper tantrums, gets extremely shouty and even sometimes violent, much like many other 80s soap men.
