As a writer, if I’m using AI in any part of my process, I am plagiarizing. As a journalist, if I am using AI in any part of my research, I risk outsourcing factual errors that I am then responsible for. I won’t participate in the use of tech that steals my work & could eventually steal my job. 2/2

I was on a panel today at a journalism conference & was asked about how I use AI in my work. I figured I’d share my stance here: I don’t. I have spent hours on the phone with Google support disabling all Gemini tools from my docs & inboxes. There’s a reason for that. 1/
