I saw this shit first hand. SFC got a Bronze Star for typing while the rest of us sat in shit getting nothing but a hardy thanks Dude, wasn't allowed to carry a weapon but earned a Bronze Star in Arifjan. He never left the base except to fly home. Boss got a PH for hitting his head on a Humvee. BS
