Hey Matt, I've asked others this but haven't gotten a response. Could you explain to me why we shouldn't have both housing assistance & sweeps? I think both are required for livable area's and I don't understand why that is opposed by anti-sweep supporters.

Imbecilic nonsense. Every proposal that comes out of the Portland DSA and the peacocks sounds like it was cooked up on a high school forensics team. It would maybe be nice if any of you bothered talking to residents who have to go to work to foot the tab for your failed experiments.

They are only arresting people with outstanding warrants for committing actual crimes, including actual violence, not for being homeless. It is not in turn violence to hold people accountable.
