THIS!!! This was always my issue with cupcakes! I've had like the ones that you make that comes in a box and those are awesome. Store made cupcakes, it was the same store brand ones with mountain of frosting. The frost to cake ratio was always bad. I always had to scrap it off.

Like yeah, I really do want frosting that is equivalent to half the height of the cup cakel itself. Do I want a pb and j sandwich and have an amount of PB and J that's the width of each slice of bread?? No the ratio is way way off and it makes a mess and feels like mush in my mouth.

No one understands what I mean when I say this but I swear frosting is like. Suffocating idk it’s so rich and thick on top of a cakey cupcake…no bueno and I’m a huge sugar person!!
