As usual Asian people have been left out of the discussion about masks and hate. Asian people have been attacked throughout the pandemic for wearing a mask. A mask ban would further stigmatize mask wearing and encourage further harassment and violence against mask wearers.

My entire life men told me that when they hurt me, it was my fault. My dad told me that. Men I was romantically involved with told me that. Men I was platonic friends told me that. My entire life, after I was hurt, I was asked to shoulder & center how they felt for hurting me.
