I actually feel bad for Stella... it's clearly something *neither* of them truly wanted but they did it because they were duty-bound. It's probably a big source of her anger and abuse towards Stolas too. Doesn't excuse it, but it's a reason.

All this is assuming that Stolas was 18 after graduation which seems correct. The Goatia seem the type to lump everything in when hitting that milestone. They are technically all immortal & age really slowly but I think Stolas is suppose to be read as someone in their late 30s.

Stella is young here but idk if she's that young. Presumably unless Stella is younger than Stolas, Stolas graduated from the academy at approx 18 & married Stella shortly after. So they could be 19 or 20 here. It had been 20 years since Stolas last saw Vassago & Via is one month shy of turning 18
