I think a useful test for a physical AI company is "would I trust you to build and run an autonomous taxi service?" it's the same bar. lives are on the line. you either systems engineer these problems or you're a cowboy looking for a quick exit there are no shortcuts

Rob Schenck is an interesting figure, because in the middle of his religious right career, he decided to get a graduate degree and write his dissertation on the German church during Nazism, and ended up realizing that he and the rest of the religious right were the baddies, and walked away.
