Things I was frightened of as a child: Death Leprosy The Wicked Witch of The East Witches, generally Quicksand Terry Lear, the Carlton School bully, who was much bigger than me & beat me up several times. I ran into him ten years later at a party & he had become flamboyantly gay. He applogized.
