Yeah, valid concern, but I think EVs are different because consumers actually purchase the car, whereas with flights, they only interact with the airline, and the choice of plane is abstracted away.

In the article, it says the plane would add a combustion engine range extender. Whether it needs it or not, what I’m guessing is that customers will feel more comfortable knowing this, especially given range anxiety is a real thing with electric cars.
