This resonates. In wasm linear memory boxed hashmaps hurt twice: pointer-chasing trashes cache locality, and every box is overhead you can't pointer-compress away. Compact int buffers / SoA basically gift-wrap the data for the prefetcher. A bigger heap just delays the same wall.
