Really good comeback from Essex with ball. Warks 151/9 at close, 17 ahead. And rode their luck getting there. We spent most of their inns with Snater (6.3-3-17-3) off injured. Westley too. Only got 4 fit bowlers (Thain bat only) & we had a sub fielder I’ve never seen before

Have to say very mixed feelings about Bell's performances here in Lancs. The fact we weren't even picking him helps explain why we're the worst side in county cricket, but glad to see he's showing his undoubted talent and determination.
