-Jon because they never wanted to stray from those pronouns, so they are often treated like a child by other dragons for it. Like, they'll use the pronouns, sure, but in a "they'll grow out of it" sort of way, which, ugh. Lol. So yeah, Martin has a lot of anxiety of not being there for those parts.

-they all are identified as "they/them" until they're old enough to determine sex (with only one or two subspecies exception, they keep reproductive parts inside, so until dimorphism is present, it's impossible to tell) so gendered names and pronouns also come later. Which sucks for dragons like-
