There’s such an easy answer to this “gotcha” question and it’s “Sports are inherently unsafe and unfair and it’s ridiculous to single out trans athletes when we allow 150 pound linebackers to go up against 260 pound linemen in freshman football on a daily basis. Let kids play with their friends.”

Drove my oldest to college yesterday for her second year there. Still remember her asking if she could play with her friends on the playground after school and her getting upset after breaking this goofy wizard figure I had that she wanted to bring in for kindergarten show and tell.

It's just so corny, really. I went to a fall wedding years ago. Missed the USC/ND Bush Push game. Life went on. The world didn't end. Fun was had that evening.
