The 2016 Martin's Lane Naramata Ranch is organic Pinot from the Okanagan Valley, B.C. This is super this year, a relatively young winery hitting a home run. Seductive and intensely aromatic, it's laced with black cherry, strawberry and roses. Tannins moderated nicely, but there's grip. #wine

Interesting read - I've historically found Sainsbury's range to be somewhat hit-and-miss. Lots to unpack here about the shift back from internet-only sellers, Sainsbury's moving upmarket and deploying a broader range. Plus decent wines at £5 and £6 is no mean feat.
