I don't know where that is (apart from the UK), but cutting the corner in that environment is a classic and the junction should have an island in the centre of the approach road to stop it as a minimum response.

Big week for us, as it’s the first full week that our new solar panels have been operational ☀️ For the past week, we have imported virtually *nothing* from the grid, using exclusively solar, either directly or via our battery 👌 Heat pump coming next month - excited for the impact on our bills! 🙂

My son nearly got hit this afternoon, cycling home from school, by a driver reversing out of her driveway without looking. She only didn't hit him because I shouted STOP at the top of my lungs, it was so horribly close. Argh I hate everyone
