After sleeping on it and letting my thoughts have time to process, Goku vs Saitama might legitimately have my single least favourite script in Death Battle besides the obvious exceptions from season 1.

Visually it's stunning but I utterly despise their approach to how both characters are written, both rundowns and the way they structured the conclusion. No other episode of the series has left me this deeply exhausted and annoyed in both concept and execution.

95. ParaNorman Finally finished this after my incomplete viewing from years ago. Had a great time! Maybe not as striking visually as Corpse Bride, outside of the face cloud thing, but still impeccably well animated and much stronger narratively. 8/10

94. Corpse Bride Desperately needed a longer runtime to flesh out the character relationships further. Still an overall good movie thanks to its stellar visuals, fun music and solid humour, but didn't have as strong of an emotional core as I know it could've. 7/10
