Jason Arday's utterly sad death holds a stark mirror up to the dehumanising political-media-societal culture we are in – one we must all be honest about being complicit in – which forgets there is a human being at the centre of a story, a case study, an issue, a scandal. It is dehumanising.

So the Telegraph is helping to fuel #FarageRiots and disrespecting the parents of Henry Nowak. And then they will both play innocent when people get injured and killed. I’ll wait for the headline from them that a single murder of a wife is a wake up call to take domestic violence seriously.
