The top version in the brochure was the Citroën Executive, a DS for business tycoons, intended to be chauffeur-driven, with a glass cabin partition. Also built in Britain was the Safari estate car. Slough would continue to make the DS until 1966, when the factory closed.
Show PostThis 1960 Citroën brochure is particularly interesting, covering the ID and DS models assembled at the UK factory in Slough. There were many changes to increase local content, including Lucas lights/electrics and a very British wooden dashboard for the ID. #weirdcarbs
