Just learned that diners were designed and named after the dining car on trains and this never occurred to me despite some of them literally being train cars and being named “this is a pretend train you are eating in”

Today is BG’s graduation from kindergarten and she fully panicked and scream cried that she would have to be on a stage for 2 minutes to sing a song. I think she’s excited tbh

I asked her what’s wrong and she said “everyone’s gonna be looking at me” and I said “what are you gonna do, pee and poop yourself??” Jokingly and folks. I can tell you that wasn’t the right thing to say in the moment
