To be fair, Bluesky having a fully open, free API makes it a very compelling platform to run academic research! See this paper for instance: arxiv.org/abs/2408.03146 Integrating Bluesky in statistical software of all kind is a welcome development, even in Stata 👀

International 3D Tennis (1990) This is a really interesting tennis simulator by legendary British development studio Sensible Software. As you can see, the graphics are in full 3D with the players represented by surprisingly well animated stick figures. The camera angles are fixed, though. 1/3
