I've long championed a UK/EU Youth Mobility deal. We owe it to young people to give back opportunities that were taken away by Brexit. In Westminster Hall, I made the point that with net migration falling sharply, our government has every reason to be bold and ambitious in the negotiation.

I very much welcome today's first move to cut business rates for pubs, clubs and hospitality businesses - but that has to be the FIRST step, not the LAST step in whole sale reform. Business rates are one of the clearest examples of a tax system that has lost control of its purpose. 1/13
