Personally, as much as I do like gifting people with fun and useful things, I think that gift = currency for sex is a... model with some flaws. It also supposes that you can make up for your bad acts by giving someone flowers. It's not the flowers, it's the acknowledgement of error that counts. +

You can see this in things as small as word choices, like the skill of "Coercion." This is your one and only social skill. Definitionally, coercion is force. The implication here is that to get someone to change their mind, whether by intimidation or persuasion, is a use of force. +
