Slowly but it is starting. Moldova will be the key, that's why Russia is putting so much effort into shaping the elections in Romania. If Transnistria falls it frees Ukraine forces and shows Russian weakness. Remove Romania from supporting Ukraine and russia can fly in reinforcements.

Economic development is highly correlated with secular and self- expressive values. Gay marriage is legal in the more developed countries, not in the less developed. With big exceptions, like Latin America being more socially liberal than economics would predict.
