Clin Infect Dis reports the first human use of a #CRISPR-modified #bacteriophage cocktail against malakoplakia caused by #multidrug-resistant E. coli. The tumor mass decreased by 89% in one year. This is a single case, but it demonstrates the viability of this strategy. DOI:10.1093/cid/ciag446
