just in time I remembered that I was wearing my hat with hazbin pins on it and the customizable velcro section saying "MORE THAN ANYTHING <3". whew. funnier to imagine I just have the stink of hazbin hotel on me though

cashier at the store the other day started talking to me about how her daughter had got her into watching hazbin hotel. cue a moment of panic that she had somehow seen it in my eyes since I wasn't wearing any hazbin merch + didn't have my lanyard out (which has charms on it). How Did She Know.

fanfic writers and fanauthors are SUCH a big part of fandom and as someone who has been one for over ten years trust me when I say that I can absolutely tell when you're not considering our participation in your event and it DOES make me think less of you.

"but they're not authors so they don't think about it!" ok and I'm not really a fanartist but I still bother to try and make prompts that artists can use + shareable graphics so I have a presence on image-based socmed + I don't expect everyone to be using AO3. ur excuse is bad and u should feel bad.
