I was raised under this propaganda and the human shields excuse always rang hollow to me even as a kid. When I was young, I assumed that when they said the enemy used human shields, that meant Israel WOULDNT SHOOT. That's basic ethics. Don't shoot innocent people. Find another way.

For the love of god, you’re a DOCTOR?!! Arabs and Jews lived side by side before the formation of the state Israel. No Arabs were trying to wipe anyone off the map then. It was only when the state was formed and Palestinians were pushed out en masse and settlers swarmed in that the problems began
