Show PostI’d actually just auditioned for all three of your books on ACX, when your name started to sound familiar to me. So I dove into Bsky to see if you’re on here, and glad to see you (and this article) around. I’ve encountered several authors who are so very paranoid about being burned by AI narration.
Show PostHey, I’d love to audition for your audiobook! But I noticed on ACX that you want checkmarked producers (ACX Approved Producers) to audition. I’m just shy of the 25 books produced (I’m at 21) to be considered but maybe by next time I’d be able to give it a shot. ACX checks biannually.
Show PostThe reverse of this has actually happened to me, twice, in which I put a lot of time into some books that I ~suspected~ may have been AI generated but didn’t have the evidence to prove it (and I’m still growing my resume), and after I submitted, the title ended up being removed on ACX guidelines.
