Until I found out how complicated sex and gender actually was. Until I saw how much joy it gave people to transition and feel at home in their bodies finally. I support and fight for trans people because there is no moral reason NOT to.
Show PostMaybe there was a post, or meme, or youtube video, or something that really made me feel this way but I can't remember. I remember when i was young seeing the "Attack Helicopter" jokes and thinking they were funny... until I found out how harmful they actually were.
Show PostI saw people being oppressed for just trying to live, not hurting or effecting anyone. I was raised on religious values that emphasized showing compassion and love for everyone, I grew up on cartoons/comics about heroes fighting oppression. It seemed obvious to show support and fight for them.
