I wasn’t all bad. We went to the other hide (south pools) and I saw my first ever redstart, plus another snipe. There were lots of goldfinch, linnet, blue tits, meadow pipits, reed buntings, dunnock and robins about. #UKBirding #PWNR

Have set myself the task of adding at least 20 new species to the #Kenya lists of #BirdsSeenIn2026 before tomorrow's update. Starting with a quartet of herons. We saw Great White Egrets and Black-headed Herons quite often during the trip, Goliath just twice and Grey Heron occasionally. #Wetlands
