i was definitely relying on the depressant aspect of alcohol to like calm myself down during stressful situations, and ive definitely had moments over the last month where ive thought "i could use a drink" but i think ive been quite fortunate in catching this before it evolved into smth a bit darker
Show Postthe goal with this isnt rly to be completely teetotal but more to nip a bad habit i was forming before it becomes too big to deal with I want the next time i have a drink to be like "yay this is nice" and not my body going "OH THANK GOD"
