That’s the thing about AI: it takes things that were already trickling in (there have always been hacks in both art and writing) and turns it into a tidal wave of interchangeable and disposable tat. The SHEIN and Temu of creative arts and with a similar polluting effect.

Now, don't get me wrong. I think there's potential for AI to *assist* writers, especially ones tasked with filling a game world. Not all AI is alike, and for that matter not all writing is either... some of it is downright drudgery where I'd LOVE to have an AI just take a prompt and flesh it out.

Am very tired of every single app I use pushing AI on me. I don’t need help writing, or recording, or responding to my email, or setting my schedule, or sending texts, or recommending content to me. If I need AI I say “Hey Siri”.
