The punishment isn't decided by the PL, it's decided by the original independent panel. No reason to think the sanctions will be anything but incredibly severe, not just because of the scale of wrongdoing but the way City conducted themselves throughout the process

A decent move IMO would be to order Citeh to change ownership, by removing ADUG. Fit and proper persons, whatever tool they use it would/might: Punish those who are actually guilty Clean out the stable Actually do Citeh and their fans good in the long run.

given the number of PL teams with American ownership I wonder if they'll look to precedent from their own Big 4 leagues, where the governing body has forced the owners to sell up
