i went to a killer halloween drag show and drew some of the queens in my sketch book and they were SO complimentary and asked for my insta, and i had to admit i don't have an insta which was a flabbergasting concept to them

I know that I am not the first person to share this and I certainly won't be the last, but y'all, if you're looking to get a fade that won't cost you 80 goddamn dollars pre-tip, go find a chill men's barbershop. Those guys do nothing but fades day in and day out and they'll take care of you for $40

They also assume that if you're in the men's haircut barbershop that does primarily fades, you came there for a reason, so they don't get all wishy-washy about actually cutting your hair short or using clippers on you even though you look like a woman and women are supposed to have long hair 🙃
